History buffs, discover the human and natural heritage that has given our villages their present-day identity.

"Autrans - Glisse dans le temps" (Autrans - gliding through time): since the Middle Ages, man has lived in this green setting, adapting his activities and taking advantage of his environment. The 1968 Olympic Games were a springboard for the development of winter and summer tourism in the village, which until then had focused on agriculture and forestry.

All along the route, markers indicate the stop number. This number takes you to a double-page spread in the booklet. Some of the markers have a hole in them, so take a look and discover the heritage features described.

The "sentier des lauzes" in Méaudre: lauze roofs, old stone basins, hamlets and isolated farms, Méaudre exudes the authenticity of a village that has managed to preserve its charm. Discover its human and natural heritage, a legacy of the past that gives the village its present-day identity. This pleasant walk, accessible to all, is designed to help you better understand today's landscapes.
