Remarkable natural sites
An exceptional environment: The Vercors Massif has been listed as a Nature Park since 1970 and this unspoilt natural environment is brimming with treasures, in terms of the landscapes and also the wildlife within.
This is where (for example) you’ll find the biggest nature reserve in France, the ‘Réserve des Hauts Plateaux’, which is a a protected natural area that can only be visited on foot.
It is also a land that is awash with exceptional natural sites such as cliffs, viewpoints, forests, Alpine pastures, caves and cavities that can be explored discreetly, making sure that this preserved land is respected. (PLEASE NOTE: you will need a guide to be able to access some of the natural sites - the caves, chasms and cavities for example).
