Via Ferrata, Via Corda

Via ferrata and cordata, another way to climb

A subtle blend of via ferrata and mountaineering, via corda is a gentle discipline where progress is made on cliffs. Slightly different from climbing, and more fun, it is often practiced as a horizontal route along the wall, using mountaineering techniques. These rope-based routes can be punctuated by special features (ladders, zip lines, etc.), allowing you to progress without any major technical difficulties, for a sensation that's close to rock climbing.

Vercors via ferrata are real aerial paths accessible to all! Via ferrata can vary in length. In the Vercors region, the best-known are Saint-Nizier-du Moucherotte, Saint-Martin-en-Vercors, Choranche and La Bastille in Grenoble. Progress on your own for specialists, or accompanied by professionals for beginners.
